Have 1987 simple MR2. Need interior shifter cover. Also outside trim: diagonal piece from back window to body.

With 20 years as a Parts and Service Director with Toyota, I have an incontrollable urge to help Toyota owners.


"Need interior shifter cover" - it would help a lot if I knew whether it is a 5 Speed or Automatic.

"outside trim: diagonal piece " - I assume a single piece; a picture of the either side, showing how it should look or how it does look, would help.

I also don't understand "simple MR2" if you could explain please.

Am once again replying to you in hopes that you can help. I have a 1987 MR2 t-tops, 5 speed. I'm in need of a shifter cover (boot) as mine has deteriorated. Do you have any contacts for this item. Summer ending and all too soon Baby Car will be put away. Would like to resolve this issue before then.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

The top horizontal piece with the bolts can still be found. ebay etc. The left and right vertical pieces are hard to find. I had to re-build mind.
If you need exterior factory decals, Zen graphics have the full set.
