Hi Folks; Does anyone know, or know how I can find out how many of the MK2 turbo hardtops were produced and imported in the US? I have one, that I've owned since nearly new, and am thinking of selling....trying to get a feel of the value since I've never seen one out there fro sale. Thanks very much! Kas

I had one just like yours & sold it some years ago for £7000. It was ultra low mileage with all history docs & was like new.

Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) will have nothing as they stay with much newer cars.

My recommendation would be Hagerty (https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools/search/auto) as they deal with vintage and unique motorcars.

BTW, beautiful '2' and hardtop too ... mine was T-Tops - did a lot of creaking ...

Good Luck!

That is a drop dead gorgeous car.

To my knowledge all MR2s sold in the United States were T-Top cars. The hardtop / turbo combination would be desirable for the low weight.

Thanks so much for your kind words! As much as I love it, depending on what I can get, I'm probably going to part with it. I'm not certain, but given some ultra low mileage T-top versions have sold in the 20s, it would probably bring in the mid 30s to the collector. I just have too many, and I just don't get to drive it as much as I want now that I live in the NW, and the weather is only great 3mo out of the year!
