... wrapped up on this particular project, custom set of reproduction floormats, just prior to showing my vintage AW11 at Toyotafest, last summer. Recall, the six original MkI interior colors, all with floormats sporting a brilliant silver MR2 logo, as follows:

a). black -
e.g., in cloth & leather -

b). oxblood -
e.g., cloth only -

c). tan -
e.g., cloth only -

d). blue -
e.g., cloth & leather (saw it with my own two eyes; Mk I supercharged, blue leather interior) -

Easy enough, a mostly straightforward proposition color-matching carpet samples, Tim at Automat pegged my particular interior, an 8170 Regatta blue from a sample I'd provided, exactly the same as Automat's Regatta blue, their number being #9304:

Next part of the project, simple matter, mapping logo size and placement, as follows (e.g., see accompanying imagery):

Driver's side logo placement:
- 2 3/4" from the left, 5" from the bottom -

Passenger side logo placement:
- 2 & 3/4" from the right, 5" from the bottom -

Problematic aspect of the project? Not exact, but close enough, Automat people did a fair job of it, modeling Toyota's tricky, nuisance laden, origami-like MR2 Mk I logo, brilliant silver lettering. Better than the Twos-R-Us reproduction floormat, much closer to original OEM size. Have a look-see; accompanying images provided.
