james S.-does the new commissioning plate match the original plate, and do you still have the original plate?You mentioned it needs new paint to show car, what is the issue with the existing paint job?Exquisite restoration, one of the nicest TR6's I've ever seen I have owned sever TR6's and now looking for another.regards............tony

Tony, Thanks! The paint is in good driver quality. The previous owners painted it themselves, so the paint is uneven/ flat. They did not try to shine it up either by wet-sanding the car. Its basically how they would paint it at the factory, but less quality. As far as the original commission plate, I do not have it, however the codes, date, and vin number match the windshield data tag as well as the British Heritage Certificate. This is a numbers matching TR6.

James-thanks for the quick response, do you have historical service files to back up the 83K original miles on the odometer?How long have you owned the car, and is the title in your name?regards....tony

Hi Tony, I do not. Whether its 83k or 183k or 483k, it really doesn't matter as this TR6 has had a ground up, frame off, nut/bolt restoration. The engine was rebuilt around 3k miles ago. I have a clean Colorado title in my name. I sent you a pm with more photos of the restoration. Sale is currently pending.
