  • 1920 Hudson Super Six Gilmore Special

“Red Lion”
I started this cyclekart in early 2020 and campaigned the bare chassis in the summer/fall of 2020. I completed the rest of the car in winter of 2020/21 during Covid19 isolation. I thoroughly enjoyed building it and enjoyed the friendships shared through this forum even more.

did you build your frame rails both on an angle? i am trying to wrap my head around this issue .if your rails are on an angle then both of your leaf springs are on an angle and your rear axel bearings too? and if they are not on an angle is your steering radios good enough to suit you?

No they are not on an angle. My steering suits me fine.

ok, thanks. I am in the process of putting my frame together and the cycle kart people are telling me i need to make my frame rails really close to gather in the front .if i do not they are telling me i will not be able to turn my wheels. but i am thinking this is only an issue with the renegade front end because i see other frame rails that are straight from front to back.
