Way to go on your resto John. I have a red 89 as well. Thankfully, rust is not much of an issue here in the Eastern Washington Desert-like climate. 240k and still going strong. 6 years to retirement (it's my daily) if the 1.6 goes before, I will drop in a rebuilt. It's too much fun to let it go still. Since i repainted with Corvette Red, it turns lots of heads. Sorry, no constructives, just wanted to cheer you on.
